UE and HUMANITY 

 “Mankind-Enlightenment-Love” is the official and complete name of UE at present, with MEL as its abbreviated name. It is rather a new and strange name to many professions, many circles and people, ‘new or strange’ is not significant, the important matter is: does this branch of study have any objects, aims, characteristics and advantages beneficial to mankind. With the name “Mankind-Enlightenment-Love”, UE has many objects, aims, characteristics and advantages beneficial to mankind in many aspects. In this article, we would like to present the objects, aims, characteristics and benefits for mankind in the Humanity area of UE.

Talking about Humanity, we must talk about the Love of Human Beings and about concrete acts to help them. Love without any discrimination, regardless of language, race, complexion, creeds, religion, viewpoints, political standpoints, society, culture, etc. The Love of Humanity should include actions to help others and they must be unconditional, without any material or spiritual conditions attached at all, helping other people in their difficult or dangerous and pressing situations, without worries about the difficulties and dangers one could face. Just thinking only about the characteristics and conditions of Humanity, we already know that it is not easy, actually very difficult to carry out; it is, in fact, extremely difficult to accomplish Humanity in any space, any time, due to countless different reasons, due to the fact that human always has two opposite facets: good or bad, kind or cruel, compassionate or merciless, etc.

On the bad side, when talking about cruelty, brutality, worldly people will normally think of wild animals such as tiger, leopard, wolf, shark, crocodile, etc. In fact, no cruelty, brutality of any animals can compare with those of human beings. In any era, any space, at any place, any time, we can see the cruelty, brutality of human beings, the crimes of human beings are never absent, never stop. No matter how civilized people are, how advanced science and technology are, acts of insanity, cruelty from human beings never end; on the contrary, with facilities of modern science and technology, sometimes, the acts of cruelty, brutality from human beings could be even more devastating, the killing of their own people are even greater, more appalling.

Those are not pessimistic viewpoints but are historical events which had happened around the world, the two World Wars had taken away hundreds of million of human lives; the followed wars of doctrines also killed millions of people; the terrorist wars at present are the worries of people all over the world day after day, hour after hour. Apart from wars, people are killing each other directly; every day, every hour, anywhere on earth, we could see criminal activities of human beings, hostile thought, and resentment from human to human.

It is fortunate for mankind that human beings do not have only errors, only cruel, brutal heart, only sinful, bad acts, etc, Thank God, thank Buddha for not everybody on earth is cruel, brutal; on the contrary, when making observation on human, there are many really optimistic viewpoints on human nature. Many Chinese sages had accepted the notion that “human is born with kind nature, good characteristics”, a common viewpoint of mankind reckons that the basic human nature is honest, good and kind. Humanity and compassion are the noblest virtues of human beings that no other living creatures can have; anywhere, in any country, any nationality, any era, any situation we can see the kindness, the compassion of human beings manifested in many different forms.

Talking about humanity, people used to think about different forms of aid, of articles and supplies such as foods, rice, clothes, blankets, etc; they are the forms we could easily see and effortlessly do; every time a natural disaster, an earthquake, a tsunami, a hurricane, a flood, etc happens, we can see that many countries, many communities, many nationalities are willing to put in their effort, money, foods, medicines, etc to help the victims, sometimes lots of money, sometimes lots of effort; they manifest the humanity and compassion of human beings.

Some countries, which suffer no natural disaster, no earthquake, no hurricane, no flood, but due to certain reasons, possibly economical or financial, are in crisis, sometimes their political policies may be inappropriate leading to social disaster, poverty, diseases, death, etc. Regardless of differences in political regimes, creeds, religions, complexion, nationalities, many countries, many nationalities are willing to help poor and miserable people in other countries or even in rival countries by providing all essential supplies such as: foods, medicines, clothes, blankets, money, etc; those are the acts of compassion and humanity of human beings.

Health is the area where humanity is well represented; almost in any devastating natural disaster, we can also see that aid allocated for medical assistance, for taking care of people health gets the first priority; therefore when talking about Humanity it is almost the same as talking about health, medicines, medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, etc as well as talking about facilities such as ambulance, casualty evacuation helicopter, hospital, dispensary, etc. Not only in the case of natural disaster, catastrophe, human requires medical aid, but almost any time in the world, there are people, communities, nationalities, countries requiring medical aid, heartfelt and enormous assistance, but without any string attached, not for gain, just aid for the cause of humanity.

In reality, mankind has made a lot of contributions, continuous, great and remarkable contributions and has shown its Humanity; among the top contributors we can name the United Nations, the Red Cross, Organisations of doctors, nurses, etc. Thanks to that humanitarian aid, countless number of people gets better, lessen their sickness or escape death; mankind should know and must be grateful to those humanitarian and compassionate organizations, we should have more similar organizations to help mankind because human beings are having and will have the needs for aid in the areas of health, medicines, diseases, sickness, etc.

In reality, mankind also never can have enough capabilities and facilities to help human beings just in the areas of health, medicine. In fact, at present, millions and millions of people all over the world are wailing and suffering because of sickness, diseases but they have no medicines, anyone to look after their health, no medical facilities, no aid from wealthy countries. They did not have adequate aid and will never have sufficient aid. This practical view demands that we should have certain solutions to save and help mankind, including completely new solutions mankind has ever known; in the name of humanity and for humanity, we cannot and absolutely cannot have any prejudice, jealousy, hatred to any new solution, any new method to help and save mankind if we really have humanity, compassion and love for mankind.

One of the new solutions, new methods is UE, a new and strange branch of study to a lot of people, because of this very new and strange nature to many people, it is regrettable to say that UE has encountered, is and will be facing plenty of suspicions, protests, objections from lots of people, offices and organizations, even from many governmental offices, countries. This is only normal psychology and action that mankind has known in the history of the world, almost any new concept proposed is opposed by worldly people. Conservative seems to be another characteristic of human beings, people are easy to be allergic to new things, new thought, new concepts, new viewpoints; but in fact, the very new things are the causes, the motives for the creation of human advancement and civilization. In reality, only people who dare to accept new things can make progress and achieve civilization; people who only accept conservative, hang on old things, protect the oldies, fight against new things, normally reap tragic consequences: underdevelopment, primitiveness, ignorance, poverty, etc

Human beings do really have Humanity; the victims of natural disaster, earthquake, tsunami, storm, flood, etc always receive aid from other countries, nationalities, from charity organizations, but in fact aid is not adequate and never be enough. At any time and any place, there are people, lots of people require help to cure their sickness, diseases but human abilities and facilities, even modern ones, can not accomplish them, therefore human beings essentially need new methods, new facilities that UE is making a lot of effort to study, to learn, to implement and to practice aiming to provide great medical benefits for mankind.

Especially, UE healing methods need no supplies, no medicines, no expense, no effort or lots of time, above all, UE can help many people, hundreds of people, thousands and thousand people at the same time. Only with those miraculous methods of UE, we can help mankind in emergency cases such as natural disaster, earthquake, tsunami, epidemic that mankind had, is having or will have to face, or such as the plague in the past and bird flu at present, with the danger of millions and millions death, some people even estimate that hundreds of million of people will die, dangers that mankind is perplexed and trembled, dangers that mankind is helpless.

Although those are only pure thought, UE still should get the deserved attention, the help and encouragement from mankind, because they are humanitarian paths, humanitarian solutions aiming to help mankind, thoroughly, quickly and entirely without the cost of manpower, material resources, methods, not requiring a lot of time, of space and free from limitations and obstructions of normal material facilities of mankind at present. In fact, UE has gone further than merely path and thought; UE has actually studied numerous problems, learned several issues, practiced and implemented many things; the results and applications of UE in the area of medicine have in fact brought great benefits to a lot of people, to patients who have no drugs or no doctors, nurses to look after them, to the healing of diseases which have no way of curing, to critical situations where there is no medical facility available.

With the facilities of thought and metaphysical abilities, UE can easily overcome the material limitations of other branches of medical study, of medicine to provide health and medical benefits to everyone, UE can readily accomplish humanitarian objectives that mankind always longs for. Those sayings are not exaggerated or vague but practical, exceptionally practical because human health does not depend merely on medicines and modern medical facilities but it also depends on many other factors, including spirit and spiritual ones. UE learns, studies, practices both the spirit factor and spirituality factor in human life; sometimes we can be healthy without taking any medicine; even in the case of taking medicine for treatment, we still need spirit factors and on many occasions we even need spirituality factors to be healed completely.

Humanity does not only mean providing medicines or taking care of human body, but Humanity also comprises love and manifestation of affection, the kind of truthful love and not for gain, the love guided by the wisdom and enlightenment of the High Divine Beings, that is the kind of love UE supports, proposes, applauses and encourages everybody to have, the kind of brotherly love based on the viewpoints, concepts of human on this earth, regardless of their differences in origins, languages, races, complexion, countries, etc, all human beings have the same common parents that UE calls Mankind Ancestors, a common Supreme Divine Being that UE calls God or the Heaven Above.

To go further, UE conceives that the soul is immortal, progresses and revolves; when a body dies, its soul has accomplished the duties on earth and returns to God to learn and progress more before going back to earth in another body, with different role and responsibilities which could be familiar or completely strange to its former body; therefore, in the area of spirituality, human is uniform, an energy form of God, the differences in bodies are only apparent and temporary, only the uniform energy of spirituality is immortal, indestructible and everlasting. By accepting this concept of the soul as a spiritual uniform, human beings can be free from dispute, resentment; they no longer see the apparent differences in human bodies, in complexion, in races, creeds, religions, history, culture, etc.

Clothes, foods, money, medicines, etc are always essential for human but a concept of spirituality and wisdom will bring love, happiness, a sense of right and wrong, equality, democracy, freedom, etc these are also necessary for mankind. Actually, aid of exclusively supplies cannot solve the problems of mankind. Poor countries continue to live in poverty; backward countries continue to be backward. Humanity demands that we should have new aid solutions that UE is studying, learning, implementing and practicing.

Besides Love, another important objective of UE is Enlightenment; this is also a vital and really pressing need of mankind. Enlightenment is an esteemed gift of Humanity, much more admired than clothes, foods, money, medicines, etc because no matter how great the quantities of clothes, foods, money, medicines are, they would never be enough to help mankind, not only thousands and thousands of people but billions of people need clothes, foods, money, medicines, etc. On the contrary, Wisdom and Enlightenment can create clothes, foods, money, medicines, etc, Wisdom and Enlightenment can create everything, it can create progress, civilization, science, technology, it can also create foods, medicines, medical studies, nurses, doctors, hospitals, schools, etc. When human beings have not got wisdom and attained enlightenment, mankind will still immerse in never-ending resentment, disputes, wars, miseries, poverty, etc

Humanity not only consists of direct aid in kind but also includes indirect aid in kind or in spirit for human based on the love and rights of mankind; all the thought, actions, which harm the love and rights of human, can be considered inhuman. Building and manifesting Humanity of human beings are essential and extremely vital, but at the same time we should pay special attention to, be vigilant and determine to eliminate all the thought, actions detrimental to Humanity; a self-important thought, if one is not on the alert, could become a disaster for mankind. The arrogant thought of a Hitler had developed into a calamity for the world, a thought of domination of Japan had turned into a tragedy for countless people; those are the bitter lessons that we should never allowed ourselves to forget.

Humanity also consists of many areas, many scopes that not many people pay attention to such as environment pollution, environment of living creatures and human beings; naturally, science and technology must be developed, but actually, the development of science and technology also brought numerous disasters for human, the toxic gas emission is an example, the danger of nuclear equipment is another example, the prevention and elimination of toxic materials which pollute the environment, the prevention of variation in weather, climate, drought, flood, natural disaster, tsunami, etc are also the works of Humanity, one of the main objectives that UE studies, learns, implements and practices.

In short, UE with its full and official name as “Mankind-Enlightenment-Love”, looking at any aspects, any areas, we can see that it is a branch of Humanity study, to love human is already Humanity, to manifest love without any gain for all human beings, regardless of complexion, races, languages, etc is also Humanity; saving people by using any facility is Humanity, healing anyone free of charge, without any demand for compensation, not worrying about results, is also Humanity; giving advises, proposing solutions for the elimination of human suffering is an act of Humanity; transferring UE energy to increase foods, produce for human is the work of Humanity; studying, learning, implementing and practicing wisdom and enlightenment in order to bring great benefits to human body as well as human spirits are truly Humanity works. With those characteristics and nature, we can unify the two terms UE and Humanity in one meaning, a branch of study in loving and helping people.
